Cold shower? I’m not so sure.

  • Hot water tanks in the U.S can be up to 80+ gallons verses 2 gallons in other countries.
  • It said Tony Robbins doesn’t consume caffeine at all. Instead, he starts every morning by jumping into a 57 degree Fahrenheit swimming pool.
  • Cold water immersion radically facilitates physical and mental wellness.

Hey guys; it’s Shauna from Without Bags, and today I wanted to talk to you about cold showers. I don’t really know I feel about cold showers. Unfortunately or fortunately, either way, I have been in many a country where the hot water doesn’t work. Here in the states we’re used to having these massive 60, 80 gallon water tanks. In many countries there’s a two gallon hot water tank, so I have had my fair share of cold showers. But I was reading this awesome article on Thrive Global that was talking about 50 ways to live on your own terms. Look it up; I think we posted it to our FaceBook channel. I really, really liked the article and one of the things it was talking about was replacing warm showers with cold ones. It said Tony Robbins doesn’t consume caffeine at all. Instead, he starts every morning by jumping into a 57 degree Fahrenheit swimming pool. Why would he do such a thing? Cold water immersion radically facilitates physical and mental wellness.

I don’t know. Cold pool first thing in the morning? It would certainly wake me up. What do you guys think? Does anybody out there handle cold showers first thing in the morning?  I am interested to here what you guys do and especially some of our people from foreign countries. How big are your water tanks over there? Considering I’m headed to Nordic countries coming up pretty quick, I would love to know. I do understand that there is thermal heated floors in most of Iceland so I’m excited to try. I’ll let you guys know when I get there. I hope you guys are having a great day and I’ll talk to you later. Bye.

So, what is this little guy’s name?

  • What shall we call him?
  • I can’t wait to see you guys from all of the different countries we will visit!
  • Tell me what you think….

Hey, guys. I am so excited for the upcoming trip. I am planning to include this little guy in some of my photos; he is awesome! He will be joining me for the upcoming trip and will appear in a bunch of the photos. I would love to get your feedback and thoughts on his name. I’m so excited about the trip. I can’t wait to see you guys live from all of the different countries. Would love to get your feedback on what his name should be…. Thanks. Bye.

Tom Bihn my new 1 carry on!

  • So every time I travel, if it does not fit in the carry on, it is not coming with me.
  • Now I am so so so excited this weekend I’m going to try and film a video for you guys about my new carry on, it’s a Tom Bihn, B-I-H-N, carry on, and we’ll put links down in the commentary below.
  • As far as links on Amazon, that kind of thing, if you guys want to check it out, but basically I have met traveler after traveler after traveler who this is it, this is their only bag.

Now I am so so so excited this weekend I’m going to try and film a video for you guys about my new carry on, it’s a Tom Bihn, B-I-H-N, carry on, and we’ll put links down in the commentary below. As far as links on Amazon, that kind of thing, if you guys want to check it out, but basically I have met traveler after traveler after traveler who this is it, this is their only bag. I’ve even met a gentleman who lives out of this bag, that’s it, he is a complete nomad, he lives out of this bag. So I’m so so so excited to bring you guys basically a packing video this weekend. I am going to be test packing for Iceland. The upcoming trip is Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland, and Estonia.

So way excited, I’ll be adding five new countries this trip and my biggest question, if any of you guys have been to Iceland, I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to fit winter clothes. We live here in Arizona, trying to figure out how I’m going to fit winter clothes in my one carry on. So if anybody has any tips or tricks, I would love to hear it. I guess you guys will be seeing the packing video on Saturday. So love any feedback, if any of y’all have been to any of those places, please give me your top thing that I have to see in any of those countries, that would be Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland, and Estonia. Hope you guys are having a great day and I’ll talk to you later. All right, check out this weekend for … probably Saturday for the packing video.
